Teamed up with Chia Cheng Construction Co., Ltd. For Slipforming works of Datan Combined Cycle Power Plant Expansion Project- Units 8 & 9 Chimney EPC Project.

2016

Teamed up with Chia Cheng Construction Co., Ltd. for the slip-forming of the new control tower at Taoyuan International Airport.

2012

Undertook EPC chimney & fly ash silos works for Talin Power Plant Renovation Project in conjunction with Chia Cheng Construction Co., Ltd. for CTCI Corporation.

2011

Expanded to the Vietnamese market by undertaking Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation Son Duong Port harbor craft basin and wharf construction project.

2005

Teamed up with Tractebel Gas Engineering to undertake 2x80,000 M3 ethylene & propylene refrigerated storage tanks EPC project for Formosa Petrochemical Co. in Ningbo, China.

2004

Constructed 3x80,000M3 ethylene & propylene refrigerated storage tanks for Formosa Petrochemical Corporation at Mailiao, Taiwan.

Undertook Hsinchu county stadium EPC project.

2001

Undertook Taipei Harbor Wharves E13, E14 & E15 Project for Formosa Petrochemical Corporation.

Undertook Taichung Fossil Power Plant units #9-10 chimney project for Taiwan Power Company.

1999

Applied prestressed slipform method on large-diameter LPG refrigerated storage tanks (φ77M).

1998

Awarded “1998 Excellence in Automation” by Taiwan Construction Research Institute.

1996

Awarded “1995 Excellence in Construction” by Ministry of the Interior.

Certified under ISO 9002 Quality Management System by DNV.

Established PT. Ting Tai Konstruksi Indonesia.

1995

Established Ting Tai Construction Singapore Pet.

Undertook cement silo project at Asia Cement’s Pulau Damar Laut terminal.

Awarded “Excellence in Construction” from Ministry of Economic Affairs and “Premier Quality Construction” from The Executive Yuan for Taiwan Power Company Taichung Fossil Power Plant Units 5~8 Project.

1994

Completely self-performed 250m chimney EPC project..

Established Jakarta, Indonesia, branch office.

Undertook expansions of the Jakarta and Surabaya plants for PT.

Bogasari Flour Mills, (total capacities up to 727,180 tons).

1993

Developed capability to lift 600t, ∮6.7m, 250m steel chimney liners.

Developed nickel alloy liner welding capability for chimney projects.

1992

Successfully integrated RC slipform method with steel structure assembly to construction the preheater tower for Asia Cement Corp.’s Hualien Plant. Ting Tai received a silver medal for Application of Automation in Construction Works from the Minitry of the Interior.

Undertook the EPC project of Pali Sewage Treatment Plant using egg-shaped digester forms from RSB of Austria and prestressing system from Vorspann-Technik of Austria.

1991

Undertook a 60,000t grain silo project at Taichung Harbor, Taiwan.

1989

Completed the RC chimney for Taiwan’s first refuse incineration plant.

1986

Completed the first domestically slipformed 138m RC chimney in Taiwan.

1985

Undertook Taiwan’s largest parking tower project at the time.

1984

First successful application of the slipform method to non-circular structure in Taiwan.

Combination of prestressing with slipform to strengthen RC structures.

1983

Advanced to simultaneous slipform of 12 units of ∮10m silos.

1982

Set foot in overseas market by undertaking Phases 6-8 cement plants of PT.

Indocement and grain silos PT. Bogasari Flour Mills in Indonesia.

1981

Successfully transferred variable cross-section conical slipforming technology to Taiwan.

1980

Achieved simultaneous slipforming of 10 units of ∮8.5m silos.

1978

Technical cooperation with Gleschnellbau GmbH of Germany, to introduce conical slipforming technique to Taiwan.

1977

Applied automatic hydraulic system, instead of manual lifting, to slipform construction of caissons.

1976

Ting Tai Construction Co., Ltd. established and registered as a Class A general contractor.

In its particular area of expertise, slipform construction, Ting Tai has successfully accomplished a great number of projects such as chimneys, silos, caissons, and mega storage tanks. Total area of construction performed using slipform technology exceeds ten million square meters.

History

Founded in 1976, Ting Tai has over 40 years of experience in the construction field. Being the first company in Taiwan to introduce conical slipform technology from Germany to the domestic construction industry, Ting Tai today is still well-recognized as the most experienced and professional slipform construction company in Taiwan. Through the years Ting Tai has grown to become an experienced general contractor capable of taking on complete EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.

Ting Tai had the opportunity to participate in several world-class projects in Indonesia such as the Indocement cement factories and the Bogasari flour mills early in its history in the 1980’s and in 1994 established a wholly-owned subsidiary in that country, Ting Tai Konstruksi Indonesia (TTKI). Today TTKI is an accomplished and growing specialty construction company in the region in its own right. Ting Tai has also completed projects in the Philippines and Vietnam.
